Partnering with The Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation

We’re excited to announce our first official partner, the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation (GBSF) who are kindly supporting the launch of the JWA with funding towards our 2019 research visit to Japan.

Official Supporter Of The Japanese Woodcraft Assocation

We’re proud to be recognised by the GBSF as promoting mutual understanding and cooperation between the UK and Japan. Our goals are very much aligned – with a shared purpose to celebrate Japanese culture and share it with those who might ordinarily not encounter Japan in this way.

We’re looking forward to developing our relationship further as the Japan-UK Season of Culture begins.

Stay tuned for further announcements regarding funding and partnerships.

About the GBSF

The GBSF’s aim is to develop good relations between the United Kingdom and Japan by advancing the education of the people of both nations in each other’s culture, society and achievements. The Foundation’s Head Office is in London and there is a Liaison Office in Tokyo. For more information visit: www.gbsf.org.uk
